Location and Transportation

How far is the vacation rental from local attractions? 1. We are centrally located in just the perfect spot so you can access all that the area has to offer – Directly across from the Rogue River, 2 minutes to walkable beaches, fishing, hiking, kayaking, not to mention restaurants, shopping (we have great thrift stores in town!), the Gold Beach marina etc. – you get the picture. The Rogue River Game House is private yet in town – a combination you will surely appreciate. 2. We are within walking distance, 5-10 minutes or just 25 minutes from Is public transportation accessible? 1. You will need a vehicle to get around. There is really no public transportation along the coast. Are there parking facilities? 1. Our driveway is very large and can accommodate vehicles for 6 guests (generally 3 cars) plus room for boats, trailers, RVs and more but nothing over 27' - the drive is too steep.

What time is check-in/check-out? 1. Check in is at 2pm – Check out is at 12pm Is early check-in or late check-out possible? 1. You can arrive whenever you need. You will be self-checking in. How do I get the keys? 1. There is a code to enter the house that you will receive upon booking confirmation.

What should I do in case of an emergency? 1. Call 911 is you have an emergency but you will also be given contact information for local assist. Is the neighborhood safe? 1. The crime rate is very low here and you should feel complete safe on the property.

What payment methods are accepted? 1. We use Paypal for all transaction. When is the payment due? 1. Payment is due upon booking. How do I get a refund if needed? 1. Should a refund be needed, it will be issued back to the credit card in you used within 30 days.

House Rules

What are the house rules? 1. The house rules are simple – have fun but be respectful. Basically it goes like this – if you break it you buy it; we’d prefer if you didn’t take our furnishings or decor home with you; check with us if you want to have guests for the day beyond the 6 person limit; and the neighbors are not close but if you are too loud they will here you so just be mindful of that although there is not a noise curfew. 2. You will receive a full list of house rules after booking. Is smoking allowed? 1. Smoking is permitted OUTDOORS ONLY (some of us have allergies). Are pets allowed? 1. We are happy to host your pets too but an additional fee of $200 per pet will be added for incidentals.

Is there cable TV or streaming services? 1. We boast a 65” Smart TV with cable, many sport chanels and access to all your favorite streaming services. How reliable is the internet connection? 1. We offer fast, reliable highspeed internet. You can work easily from here. Are there any entertainment options in the property? 1. The Rogue River Game House offers play of all kinds including: Horseshoes, Yardzee, a Poker Table with cards and chips, Ring Toss, as well as Giant Connect Four, Wingspan, Apples to Apples, Checkers, Chess, Puzzles, Crosswords and so much more!

What do I do if something breaks during my stay? 1. You will be provided with a list of people to contact (including ourselves) in case of various scenarios when you book. Rest assured we have a team standing by to help with any need.

Accessibility

Is the property wheelchair accessible? 1. The property is wheelchair accessible. It’s a ranch style home. Enter from the garage to avoid any stairs. Are there stairs or an elevator? 1. There are only 3 steps to get into the front door. There are also stairs leading from the patio to the grounds. However, enter and exit from the garage to avoid all stairs but still have access to everything. How accessible is the surrounding area? 1. You will be able to walk the extensive grounds but the entire surrounding area is one big playground. You have access to it all.

Cleaning and Linens

How often is the property cleaned? 1. The property is cleaned upon guests leaving and is tidy before guests arrive. Because this is a month-long rental, you can request to have it cleaned during your stay at an additional fee. Are linens and towels provided? 1. You will have all the towels and linens you need. Is there a cleaning fee? 1. The cleaning fee is covered in the booking fee.
